We made it! happy new year to all and blessings all round. The pic with the view is from our new balcony, and obviously the one with all the boxes is the old house. Ant packing up his study...We spent the last two days unpacking and arranging. It's so beautiful here :) Last night we opened a bottle of bubbly, and bought out the guitar and the didgeridoo...we didn't make it up till twelve, but waking this morning in our new place and welcoming in the new year was all that we needed to complete our celebrations. I hope this year allows for the goodness that is in all of us to shine and make the world happier. Love and light...

That is wonderfull!!!! :)

Nice view! Oh, what a great way to start off a brand new year!

I see sticks or skinny wooden poles on the roof...interesting.

Tell me again, gaelin, why did you decide to move? Did you live in the city before? Did you design this house yourself?

Enjoy 2006! And yes...may "the goodness that is in all of us to shine and make the world happier." Amen to that, sis!

Happy new year Steve :) To answer your q's, we moved 'cos the city was way too intense. We lived pretty much in the heart of Cape Town, and although the house was nice it was noisy and crowded all around. The new place is about 45 min drive from the city centre, a sleepy little coastal village, in a nice community. No, we didn't design it oureselves (oneday...oneday...) but it suits us perfectly :)

With your hopeful and curious spirit this year is bound to be a success for you. Just remember to tell us all about it!
